A very different bicycle ...

I'm quite sure this isn't a horse trailer. But it was a unique kind of bicycle. And one could, indeed, carry a lot of stuff as one pedaled on home - maybe even a week's worth of groceries. It gets good gas mileage, too!

Where have you been for such a long time? I missed you and it's great you're back!
This bicycle really invites to take a longer journey:)

Good for groceries... or a sports bag to go to the gym! Good to see you back! Hope it was a happy hiatus!

If I filled that thing up with stuff, I probably wouldn't be able to get it home!

It's a giddy-up go sort of vehicle. MB

I spent some some days at a paradise island in Ecuador where there were no cars. The only means of transportation was a similar 'thing' with a guy cycling in the back (we were sitting in the front as in a rickshaw). I found the same in Myanmar a couple of years later. It was really cool! :-)

I'm with Lois, probably couldn't pedal this even when empty. I recently saw that there are train bikes -- you go on tours following RR tracks using bikes with gizmos attached to the rails. Pretty funky.

Welcome home -- nice gangsta avatar of you and Lois Ann.
