Heh, Jacob. Unless you're a polar bear you would not want to go swimming the Cherwell in my photo. Not only is the water muddy (small problem), it was February and there was ice on the ground. Your tree scene here is totally beautiful. I didn't get any good pictures of this time of year in Colorado, unless they are on slides, which I hope to "unfile" someday.
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

Excellent--one could groove in the grove.
It sure is beautiful. MB
That's beautiful! Great colours.
By the way, you got it right, the butterflies were 'drinking'! :-)
OK, I just visited you over in Florida! So glad you are covering America for us! (: Gorgeous autumn colors.
This is sure a beautiful shot...
Just where I love to drive... I'm a road trip person. Did you guess? Pretty...
