Aspens going gold
This was from the Leadville train which takes you from Leadville, an old mining community and the highest town in the U.S., to Climax, up the mountain at almost 11,000 feet, a trip of about 13 miles.

Beautiful golden autumn colours and I love your header. Glorious places you've been.
Ooooooh. I love Colorado this time of year. Wonderful gold!
Jacob, this really must have been a wonderful break for you!! The shot you've captured here is so mesmerizing! Colors are stunning! Awesome, truly awesome!!
Pixellicious Photos
That is up pretty high. Are the cars on the train pressurized?
Aspen gold. MB
This is a spectacular scene. And a quality photo.
Oh, my, this is beautiful!
The colors are beautiful! I love Leadville. We camped there a couple of years ago and since it is over 10,000 feet the temps still got down to freezing at night!
This takes my breath away. Do you suppose those lucky people who live near Aspens realize how fortunate they are?
I assume the golden trees are aspens, and they are gorgeous. Nice shot.
You took that through the window? Wow, great clear image! Wonderful yellows.
Stunning yellows! What a feast for the eye!
Ah...this makes my heart sing!
Great time of year to visit Colorado! Glad you enjoyed the Leadville video. In the first part was a photo of Gas Creek School; I attended this one room school for 2 years! Our farm was in the Nathrop area; if you noticed the river rafting company at Fisherman's Bridge .... that was part of our land. :)
