Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

Colorado gets its name from the Spanish for colored, painted.
No way to get it seriously in B&W, Jacob!
Looks like you had a really busy trip! Yes, a five hour drive to Telluride would have definitely eaten some of your time.
Did you get any bighorn sheep photos?
I'm with VP on this one, Jacob. It loses something - at least the warmth - in b&w.
I like the sun glowey one. I make up words as I go along. Makes sense to me. MB
Wonderful rocky area! I prefer the colour version.
Talk about 'rocky mountain high'. Great shot, but I prefer the warm tones in the second.
