A church for mountain folks

I really like the cross! The entrance is pretty; I hope there are big windows on the other side to take in the mountains!

I think Mom said her place is in Copper Gulch. It's closer to Texas Creek, but the address is Cotopaxi.

Were it not for the door (and the outside crosses)I'd have thought this was a very nicely located warehouse.

Look at the mountaintops & that sky & all the trees... pretty setting for a church! or home! or MY HOME! heheheee! =)

There was snow flurries in the forecast the other day, but nothing fell - it rarely ever does! It's usually only ice if we get anything at all around here!

You took so many great photos on your trip! I thought we would be going through Cotopaxi and Salida on our way home from Oklahoma, but we went up the little highway 114 instead. We drove for hours in the snow on Sunday and it turned our 15 to 16 hour drive into a 19 hour drive home.

The church itself is very simple. Nice find!

Interesting church building. I love how those three crosses are placed in front!

Are those crosses made from telephone pole? Just asking.
