Re your comments on my travel blog: I grew up (mostly) in Oklahoma City. I was living between France and Switzerland in 2004. But came back for a visit at the holidays when I got those shots of the orchids. They were having a special show at the Crystal Bridge downtown. It's a neat place to visit if you ever stop in OKC. There's also a small art museum downtown that has some nice Chihuly glass.
Re: cars on beach. I think it has to do with the location. I'll bet that very few cars are seen there, as on the Oregon Coast. It's legal to take cars on the beach here, but it doesn't happen that often. If the location were heavily populated, it would be a whole other story.
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

It does seem to be the perfect place to be. MB
Hmmmmmm!!!! What beats me is how much further do you want to take the car? That would be prohibited here.
This is a real teaser urging anyone who sees the image to pack up immediately and fly to Colorado! :)
God bless you!
Cezar

Seems like you guys travel around the country a lot too.
I agree with Ciel: what's with that car on the beach?! Otherwise a pretty spot.
You were there on a much nicer day than I was. This looks positively inviting :)
