They certainly are roughing it with an outhouse. Reminds me of when I was a kid because my great grandmother had an outhouse. We always used to be scared to go in there because of snakes. We were so happy when she finally got an indoor bathroom!
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

Looks like it needs a bit of work. Nice view. Love the hill in the back too.
Way out in the boonies, I'd say.
Looks like a long walk on a cold night to visit the 'facilities'. MB
That is just beautiful! Do you guys travel across the country for photographing?
Is that sagebrush all around?
So the outhouse's roof leaks. So what? Natural flushing.
Looks a little bit neglected, but has a great potential:)

Looks like a hard place to make a living.
No thanks. I'll pass on the outhouse.
Wonderful photo! Beautiful place!
I almost miss the outhouse! Is that what I think it is? :-)
Looks like they have two sets of facilities. I find interesting that the house in the foreground is the same color as the hills.
Nice shot.
