Ahh. This really makes me feel like stretching! I almost mistook the haystack to be one of those unique Colorado homes.
Thank you for visiting and leaving such nice comments. It helps to keep me going. Maybe I'll even get back to digging through the rest of the St. Louis photos. (I only made it through one day. ha) Have a wonderful June!
Boy, those wide open spaces are something I dearly loved about Colorado. We have them in Oregon, too, but it's a bit of a drive to get there (all beautiful, though) :)
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

This feeling of freedom that I know only in America... I'm jealous (my turn to be!)
It makes me feel like hitting the road and going ahead!
I love days like this!! Feels great to be alive when looking at a scene like this.
I wish I was driving on that road right now!

Wide open indeed. Fantastic!
Ciel is wrong (said with a smile)... the other place I've seen with such Big Blue Sky is in Mongolia. Bit far to go, I admit... Gorgeous, Jacob.
