Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.

Oh now, THAT would be a train ride experience to remember til death! that sites you'd see... what did ya'll see? I bet it was one incredibly gorgeous continuous view!!! =)

This is reminding me of the train I rode on earlier this summer in the Smokies. A little different scenery though!
Jacob, you went by train to the mountains? He wrote you last time about the tourist train. It must be a nice experience. Nice photos over the edge of the locomotive. Tomorrow I go on a trip by train. Perhaps I'll have a new blog fotogarfie. Many greetings! Peter.
Looks like you were quite close to the engine. We took a train ride in Alaska 10 years ago. Great way to see the scenery.
Such a well composed shot! Would love to be on that train.
