Miss Deb's Brazen Cafe

Miss Deb's Brazen Cafe with Huge Chicken out in front is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere on the road that leads from Gunnison to the Great Sand Dunes. As I recall, there were a couple of patrons present as we stopped to fill up on gasoline. Two's a crowd in them thar parts!

That chicken under arrest...or making a fashion statement.

Pretty cool sign and I love the chicken. Did you eat there or just stop to take pic's of the signage?

You got over to Gunnison? Did you go to Palisade? That's where I lived for 8 years. There was a huge rooster outside of Palisade made of junk metal. It was not a bad representation!

I had the same thought as bfarr - a rooster in shackles! I wouldn't want to tangle with ole Miss Deb. Very cute find!

Both signs are cute. The first reminds me the character of very popular Chech cartoon for kids - 'Rumcajs':)
Have a lovely day!

Wonder how the food is...probably either really good or really bad!

The drive from Gunnison to the Sand Dunes seems like forever, so seeing anything like this is kind of entertaining, isn't it? I think the San Luis Valley is the largest high altitude valley in the world. It does seem to go on forever!

I like the name of this place! That rooster looks a little scary to me.
