Outhouse in the mountains

A necessary convenience if one lacks internal plumbing arrangements up in the mountains. But it is so not fun on a cold, wintry, snowy day!

Looks like its been there for a while. I have never done this personally, but I hear outhouses make for good archeological dig sites. Ppl threw all sorts of things in them.

A-ha, ha, ha! When you gotta go, you gotta go; mounds of snow or no!

Does one often lack internal plumbing arrangements in Colorado?

This reminds me of you know which TV series ;-)

Well, on cold, snowy winter night it could be even worse:)
Love the autumn colours and the rocks!
Have a great day:)

Nice shot Jacob! This is bringing back some memories of my childhood because my great grandmother had one of these behind her house when I was little. I was always scared to go in there because of snakes! I remember how proud she was when she finally got an indoor bathroom.

You may think me uncivilized, Jacob, but I'd rather answer nature's call in nature than go in a stinky little outhouse... :-D

Almost frostbite on the soul...or you might wish for that on a cold morn instead of this.
