Very interesting. Are these full time homes or cabins? Look at those rocks--they just fascinate me. the mountains here are full of all sized stone. these look like god has been playing marbles. MB
Those boulders are really something! My mom just purchased some acreage in the Cotopaxi area, not here. I'm looking forward to seeing her mountain hide away!

Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

Beautiful, this place is very similar to one we have around here.. i liked
Beautiful. The rock/boulders in the first shot are beautiful colors...painted my nature or man?
In the second, those boulders are as big as a house. Hate for one to land on me.
I think they did lots of work to building this house there, but it's wonderful!Lucky people!

What a magnificent setting - and how good would it be to live in either of those homes?!

Happy travels!!
Gorgeous but I couldn't live there more than a few months.
The first one is awesome! Colorado is really fabulous:)
I especially like the top one, what a location! Fantastic!
Those rocks in the first picture are so pretty!
I wish I had a few of the rocks from the first shot...I wonder if any ever tumble close to the houses.
