What a wonderful treat for you to see and photograph!

They are always a thrill to see! This group is looking very well.

I know Mom's place is nothing like your photo from yesterday! She does have her well drilled -- 450 ft. down. Now to find a straw long enough to get the water up!

The are so beautiful.
Ours here in the Rockies get winter hair . These done seem to have any.

Oh wow, you caught them. Are they shy?

Thanks for the mileage, yes that is quite high. I do know miles, just about. Metric is so much easier.

How neat to see them so near. Baby looks almost like a large rock in the second shot. MB

Wonderful shots Jacob! They make a cute family. I have never seen them in person before!

Lucky you! Lucky us you were ready with your camera! How utterly sweet this long-horned-short-haired sheep family.

[Calling Imelda a fascist gives her too much credit, frankly. To me she certifiably histrionic, shallow and self-centered. But of course at the height of Marcos' power, that would have been appropriate, as she certainly was guilty by association. I suspect THIS
is much the same as what you read in The Nation. Walden too, however, is a character and I do not agree with most of his politics either, but his ethics may be a cut above most of the rest. It's all quite complex, really.]

Some tough dudes, there, it's always amazing to me how well they hang on... =)

Jacob, this is outstanding! I used to see these sheep from the car near Glenwood Springs on I-70 in Colorado where the Interstate hugs a particularly large mountain. Unfortunately, I never had a camera ready. These shots are excellent!

Oh, wow! I saw two of our desert bighorn sheep this fall. I was the only car to stop and take photos of them. Ours are so few in number. Great shots!
