A police car hiding behind the Country Bounty sign - in Salida
And the funny thing is, there's no policeman in the car! But people automatically slow down when they see it!

I wish there was something as easy to do to make people afraid to drive while using their cell phone.
They do that around here, too! Country Bounty has always been a favorite.
They used to do that here on holiday weekends...not so much anymore.
Workd every time. MB
I wouldn't have known this is a police car but then I wouldn't have needed to slow down as I don't speed.
I wouldn't either, but slowing down surely is a universal reaction! :-)
Whatever works! I've seen the highway patrol do that on I95 in Maryland whenever I am up there visiting my sister, but people speed anyway.
You know how tricky those po' can be!
They always hide somwhere:)
Whoa! But my first thought was their patrol cars aren't great for winter! My husband's patrol car is a Ford Explorer. Of course, they probably can keep the roads pretty clear in Salida.
