Once this is a Colorado blog I was intrigued by the name of the river but I checkei it and, in fact, the river is really long and crosses several states 'ending' in Arkansas. Great place to have fun and nice photo.
Oh, and I don't think I've mentioned that I lived along the Arkansas River when I lived in Oklahoma. It was a much less beautiful stretch of the river.
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

I saw the river briefly, but I think it was a much colder day. This looks inviting!
Fun, but cold water!

Glad to know your daughter was OK after such a scary adventure!
