It's always fun to watch the hummers! I guess the Rufous variety are the feisty, territorial ones. At the B&B, they'd come to the window and let you know the syrup jug needed refilling!
Fabulous shots Jacob! I have a feeder just like that one, but I can only ever get one hummer on it at a time because they fight over it and can be downright mean to each other.
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!
