I wouldn't mind sitting on that bench for awhile! It's a beautiful little town. I have been there but only got to see the airport since it was just a stop on my way to Telluride. I hope to go back one of these days!

Gunnison is such a great little place. If you didn't have time to drive up to Crested Butte, you should put it on your list for your next trip!

Yes Jacob, it was a small (and scary) plane. After stopping in Gunnison, we flew to Montrose and then drove to Telluride. This was years ago before Telluride even had an airport. Although after seeing where the Telluride airport is located now, I would probably have to be sedated before landing there!
