Colorado in Color
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.

That's a bit like some pics I took in Oregon. I love ranches in various states of disrepair.
The places are so beautifu, shame that ranches are disappearing!
Great set of decay shots and beautiful landscapes.
Looks a lot like Eastern Washington, although in the second pic there is a large hay storage--so even in disrepair some places are still being used. MB

I'm not sure you can call the last one a ranch anymore! Nice series.
I can't help but think what strong willed people it took to settle there in the first place. I always wonder would I have had that will.
