The Royal Gorge - Part II
You will note in the 2nd photo, that some fools get tied up in some rope and then swing way out over the gorge! They do this several times. Perhaps they need a mental health facility at the Royal Gorge?

Well, now, I never did that at the Royal Gorge, my grandparents wouldn't have let me even if I wanted to.
I guess I did tell my age in the last comment, heheheee - that's ok - we all get older! LoL!
Did you know that part of the movie "The Cowboys" with John Wayne was filmed there?
And am I seeing things, do they let cars on the bridge now?
Finally, you will never see me attached to those over-sized rubber bands.
Na-uh--not me swinging out there--yikes!!!
It sure is beautiful though--in a rocky sort of way. MB
The first shot gives me the shivers and I'm NOT scared of heights! Amazing.
Exciting and beautiful! These are the first words that come to mind!
Dear Jacob, we're delighted to see your (new) blog with such fantastic pictures of fantastic Colorado! What a place!
Again, your talent to play on words shows subtly: "Colorado in Colors". Very smart! :)
God bless you!
Cezar
I must say that the first shot is breathtaking. You know that I have no problems with vertigo and always climb towers bridgws etc., but wow, Jacob, it is high!
Have a lovely weekend:)
Definitely fantastic, it sure deserves being called Royal! But you will never see me swinging there! :-)
Looks as though you enjoyed the aerial tram -- or at least went on it. Congratulations! You did get some beautiful photos. It took me awhile to figure out what was "missing." They didn't have all the State flags flying on the bridge above their nameplates. Wonder why?
Jacob, WHERE were you standing to take that first shot! Fantastic! And sigh... vertigo and all... I'm probably one of the fools that would go for the swing... :-D
Last summer my husband, son and then 8-year-old daughter did the Sky Coaster. I've never heard Jay and Garrett scream like that before! My photos are here:
