Oh yes don't you just love the mountains. I know I do. If I am feeling down or blue I have to take a roadtrip to the mountains---at least I don't have to drive too far. I feel refreshed and can breath again. When I was a kid I wanted to be a hermit and live in a cabin in the woods. All I would need was a horse and a dog and a whole wall full of books. MB
Breathtaking view, especially with the fall colors. But I don't know that I could live here, like the folks in the third photo. It would feel mighty desolate once the color is gone.
Colorado is magnificent, so fantastic mountains there, HUGE! :) I imagine the peace, the wind, a moment to talk with our heart and also with Him! thanks so much for sharing! Léia
Gorgeous photos again Jacob! I love the way the light is hitting the mountains. By the way the smallest plane I ever rode in was when I took a plane ride over the Grand Canyon. That plane only seated 6 people and they weighed everyone before boarding. I had to sit in the back since I was the lightest--I will never do that again!
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!
