Don't you just love riding trains? I do although I don't get to do it too often.
Jacob, thanks for the nice comments on pcadp re the historical commentary. I am really getting into exploring the older neighborhoods in Columbus and researching the old homes, etc.
I love train rides. The last one I did was two years ago from Shenzhen to Beijing. But we could not go outside, so I didn't get any interesting photos, since I don't like shooting through window. Did you? If so, your windows were a lot newer/cleaner than the Chinese train's.
Colorado in Color presents a series of photos, most of which were taken in September and November of 2010. Southwestern Colorado is featured, offering glimpses of the Great Sand Dunes, Gunnison, Leadville, the Royal Gorge, etc.
The photographs were taken primarily by myself and my wife, Lois Anne and are copyrighted by L & L Photography. All rights are reserved.
We have, as of February 2013, added our daughter, Denise Jelonek, a resident of Colorado, as a contributor to this blog. She is an excellent photographer and has many beautiful photographs to share.
Enjoy!

11,00 ft is always beautiful, you just gotta see thru the trees - they're sooo tall!!!
